Western New York Roundnet is proud to host this charity tournament on Saturday May 1st 2021, supporting a great local organization, Kevin Guest House.

This event will have a flat $25 registration fee and will be open to all ages, genders, and skill levels (players under 16 will require signed consent from a parent).

All divisions are open to men's, women's and co-ed teams.

ABOUT KEVIN GUEST HOUSE

Kevin Guest House or KGH, is a local organization that provides housing for family and caretakers of patients who have traveled in from out of the area to receive care from one of our local hospitals.

Most people are familiar with Ronald McDonald House which provides similar services for kids, but you may not be aware that Ronald McDonald House was actually started by a gentleman who had stayed at our local Kevin Guest House which has been around since 1972, and then took the idea back to Philadelphia with him and started Ronald McDonald House.

KGH serves more than 2,000 people each year, and is funded almost primarily by donations and community involvement.

We are proud to support such a worthy cause. Click here to learn more about Kevin Guest House

FORMAT

We will aim to have pools of 5-6 teams.  Depending on the number of teams, we may need to have pools of 7-8 teams and single games to 15 with a cap at 21.  Pool play will determine the seeding for bracket play.  Every team will qualify for a spot in the brackets.

Bracket play will also follow the 2021 SRA format.  All brackets will be single elimination, playing out for specific final placings.  If you lose in the first or second round, you'll automatically drop into a consolation bracket.  As such, every team will be guaranteed at least two bracket play matches in addition to their pool play matches.

Note: Format may change at the tournament directors discretion based on number of teams registered and other factors.  As such, actual format may vary from the format outlined above, including but not limited to division splits or consolidation, double elimination instead of single, etc..  We retain this flexibility to ensure we're able to adapt to the best possible solution for each of our tournaments and provide the best possible experience for you.
